DND 3.5 character generator/sheet

Myth and Legend

First Post
OK OK i know about pathguy's site and that java thing that is very slow, can't be modified (can't change something you've OKd, you have to redo the whole thing) and doesn't have the DMG PrCs of all things! I've spent an hour or so looking for an alternative. There are a couple of paid solutions, and then there is this exel sheet. It's wonderful, but i can't seem to access the regular feats. Can anyone help me figure it out, or provide a better 3.5 DnD generator?

Personally I use PCGEN with customised output sheets. It handles a wide variety of games including 3.5E, Pathfinder and D20 Modern. Don't believe it handles 4E though.

Send me a PM if you would like a copy of my sheets. These are the basis of the ones I use for enworld and generate BBCode.

Attached are two pcgen character outputsheet files, I use as the basis of my enworld character sheets. I know there are a few issues with spells but otherwise they should work.

Having installed pcgen, you need to copy theses files into the outputsheet/d20/fantasy/text directory. As I don't use windows, I can't tell you where exactly this is located but at a guess it should be under Program Files/pcgen.

Once installed, run pcgen and select Settings,Preferences. In the preference window select output and select the required sheet in "Default HTML Output Sheet". Once the new sheet is selected then every time you "Preview the current character sheet in a browser" it will create a new browser window using the selected sheet. Please note that these sheet are intended for use in ENWorld, which uses BBCode not HTML, so they will only look as intended when loaded on enworld. If you want to display your character sheet in a browser use one of the pcgen default sheets.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any problems.

Those are nice sheets.

Thanks Nylanfs, I like they way when your put stat in the box it puts the modifier in all the right places. Like when you list your DEX it fills in your init spot and all your DEX related skills

Hope ML likes them too.

I tend to simply use the format that LEW uses unless my DM requires it in another format(for 3.X)

For 4E... I just jack someone's characterbuilder output and handwrite everything.

I can't download or signup or most stuff without running it past my father, which is a pain in the rear.
