DnD minis, good distribution by the case?

I'm thinking about buying a full case of DnD minis. I'm a little behind and need to get some Deathknell. How is the distribution buy the sealed case? Anyone end up getting duplicate rares in same case with the newer sets?

With both Deathknell and Angelfire I started off with 1 case each.
My results for Deathknell was I got every common/uncommon mini and 12 of the rares.
I did not get any dupes of the rares.
My Angelfire case was the same way. All the commons/uncommons and 12 of the rares without dupes.
Now I am just picking up the single rares I need as I can afford/find them

I believe I did get one dup within a case of Deathknell. It seems to get better as the series goes on. I don't recall getting any dup rares within the Angelfire set within the same case.

Great results here too.

With both a case of Deathknell and Angelfire, I got 12 unique rares, 1 or 2 of each uncommon, and 4 of each common. That's about as good as you can get.

I've picked up cases of the last three sets, and in one of them (Deathknell, I think) I had a duplicate rare, but everyone else I talked to got 12 different rares with no duplication. I also got at least one of every uncommon & 4 of every common in each case.

Of the three last expansions, I bought a case and got maybe one or two duplicate rares overall, some duplicate uncommons, and every common figurine.

I picked up 2 cases of Deathknell and the distribution was very good.

Post Deathknell, I bought 2 cases per set on Archfiends, GOL, & Aberrations... and the distribution was TERRIBLE. My experience with GOL came close to ending my plasticrack addiction.

I cant speak on Angelfire though, I have since switched to only getting a handful of boosters and then buying singles in the secondary market.

Just got done with my case of Deathknell. Only missing 12 rares. Got at least one of everything else. 4 commons, I only got one of some uncommons. I'm happy with what I got.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a lot less secondary selling on Ebay for DDMs? Sorta seems like people are getting burned out...

It heats up around a release time and I've been able to fill in all the ones I don't get from a case.
