If Microsoft keeps to there usual procedure. They will keep the lid on it until it is almost ready for release.

I don't need NPCs or spell effects animated for me or my players. Describing and imagining that stuff is pretty much the fun of D&D.

Development should focus on automating what players find tedious about traditional gaming and on innovating where paper & pencil falls short.
