If you want to see a bad movie by comparison, afterwards the SF channel is showing one (or two):

Kull the Conquerer

Godzilla vs Hedora, which out of all of the Godzilla movies I've seen (and er, own, actually) which is all of them 'except the newest one, is the 2nd worst. And this is close. Real close. (Godzilla's revenge is the worst).

Maybe I'd like it more if I were a hippie. But it's basically a Godzilla movie done by people on LSD.

Damn the Canadian version of the Sci Fi Channel for not showing Wrath of the Dragon God. We were subjected to Battlestar Galactica, so I watched Donny Brasco instead.

You can always check out SciFi channels schedule at SciFi.com. It plays again Thursday night. I'll be watching it (we were, um, playing the game during the first hour or so.)

Lousy acting, but man, are they abiding by the rules!

I liked it. It definitely wasn't Lord of the Rings, but I thought it was better than most of the Sword and Sorcery movies that I have seen.

As forr the acting, I would not go as far as to say it was lousy. Granted, the acting wasn't the greatest, but. imo, it was adequate. Lousy acting would be the first DND movie which had some known actors, Kull, Hawk the Slayer, and plenty of other fantasy movies that I could never sit through. I
