Do bards gain bonus spells known for high Charisma?

I have been looking over the bard class. I cannot find where it says a bard does not gain Bonus Spells Known for a high charisma. It specifies that a sorcerer doesn't gain bonus spells known for a high charisma, but it does not give such a limitation for bards.

Is this the case, do bards gain additional known spells for having a high charisma?

Nope, bonus spells from high ability scores only apply to spells per day not spells known!

A bard will, however, learn spells a level earlier with sufficently high Cha. The 1*s on the spells known chart means that they only get this spell if their Cha bonus is high enugh to allow them to cast the spell (because they are also getting 0 spells/day - just bonus spells).
