Do/did you love "Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue"?

Aurora's is a classic. I think I've owned 4 or 5 copies. People tended to walk off with them so there was times when it never left my sight. I'll look at this at the summer cons. It's a book I'd want to leaf through before buying.

Yeah, I don't think this has all the cool gear that Aurora has, but it has some of its own unique stuff, plus I like the map of the establishment in back, as well as the write up of the NPC's and such, as well as the map of the 3 level Crossroads Inn and Tavern, its descriptors, as well as the menu's.

Its written for Pathfinder, but I don't care since C&C is so universal.

Aurora's always comes to mind when equipment books are mentioned - it's still tied in my book for the gold standard, along with And a 10-Foot Pole. I've been interested in checking out Luven Lightfinger's since I heard about it so it's good to hear it's up there in quality.

This still isn't as good
Damn it, Treebore!

Isn't one of the implicit purposes of RPG fora to 'sell people on' oodles of things, as often as possible?! Gah! :D

This is the second time in as many weeks that you've sold me OFF a RPG book.

;)

Anyway, it does look pretty promising, for those looking for Pathfinder equivalents to Aurora's. And, for those considering buying from IPR, the fact that they often offer bundles of print+PDF is (IMO) a definite plus.

Just because it isn't as good doesn't mean it isn't worth buying, its nearly as good, plus their lists are more extensive in areas that Aurora is not, but it also does not have a lot of stuff Aurora does.

Yeah. Not so serious, most of that post.

In fact, if I end up GMing Pathfinder (just a playa -- of that, anyway -- atm) I'll think about picking up a bundle deal. Even though I loves me the ol' Aurora, a lot of it is, quite frankly, useless the majority of the time. Plus, things need to be converted left and right. Annoying!

Oh, and while these things are being mentioned, I'll give props to '...And a ten foot pole' too. :)
