Homebrew Do people in your game world put cheese on their apple pies??

I've been running homebrew or mostly-homebrew settings for 42 years and can honestly say this question has never arisen.

Here in Germany (near Frankfurt) you get something called "Handkäse".
Sometimes you get it in combination with apples and onions in vinegar and oil.

I've heard of it being from New England, but never seen it other than on a menu. Maybe it is like grilled cheese with mayo instead of butter, or banana and peanut butter sandwiches.

The ingredients are very variable, aside from the basic ingredients of bread, cheese and apple. Possibly adding sweet pickle, pickled onions, ham and/or side salad. You may find it on the menu in English cafes, tea shops and pubs.
