Do you consider yourself a hardcore gamer or casual?

Are you Hardcore or Casual?

Casual gamer wish I had more time, money and the memory to be hardcore! :D

I spend time preparing for my bi-weekly Dragonlance game, read EN World news and forums occasionally, visit the wizards website every now and then, read my monthly Dragon Magazine from cover to cover, got a few D&D minis, use Dunjini for my own dungeon tiles (still need to learn how to use the program), buy my D&D and d20 books in my FLGS and on Ebay, and hope to use my next week of vacation time to catch up on all the RPG books I have bought but have yet to read.

That still makes me a casual gamer, eh? ;)

I am married, have three kids and a fourth on the way. I have an advanced degree, and am both fairly successful and on an upward career trajectory. Plus... I bathe every day.

So I am not a hardcore gamer! :p

Definitely a casual gamer sort ... not a rule tinkerer at all. :)

Says the poster who has 4 or 5 links which identify himself as a fantasy character who has a proper race and alignment identified!

[Not an insult, by the way. I just thought it funny. :) ]

I am hardcore by the criteria set above. However, I do not consider myself to be 'hardcore' compared to the RPGA fanatics that I know. They fly around the world just to play in different LG metaregions, doing nearly monthly cons. THAT is hardcore!
