D&D 3E/3.5 Do you get the impression more people have left 3.5 for 4th?

Most anyone I know who has tried 4e switched back to 3/3.5. There were just too many changes that didn't fit their play style.

There will always be things about each edition that someone doesn't like. House rules eliminate that. Me and my friends use a mix of 3.0 - 3.5 rules with some of our own concoctions because we think thats the most fun.

No one that I know of has switched to 4th edition. I only know 20 gamers or so but I'm a little surprised that none have made the switch.

I can say the same thing about Pathfinder.

We're still playing 3.5, but after trying 4e, everyone agreed to switch.

Well gentlemen and lady's here's to the wait of 5th edition. May it more closely resemble the original vision!
