Mythusmage, thanks to the link to mine on your page.

You're welcome. Hope it brings you more traffic.

According to my referrer list I got 8 visitors from this thread. So for me posting here worked.

Advice: If you have a blog with Blogger (Blogspot) get a commenting/trackback account with Haloscan. Free and pay accounts available, and according to folks who use it, the spam security is way better than Blogger's.

Finally, if you have a web site with a web host check your control panel to see if cgi scripts are availabel. Most control panels include pre-installed scripts. Among them you should find scripts for community sites. Sort of like what The d20 Magazine Rack and other sites use. Not exactly blogging software, but useful. Or you can try installing blogware yourself or ask a fellow client at that web host for his assistance. My blog was installed by a nice chap I contacted through Total Choice Hosting's forum. I reccommend Movable Type, others swear by Word Press.

Hope this helps.

Looks like ENWorlders are taking to blogging this time around. My Blogroll is getting so long I'll have to get the pay version so I can organize it by subject.

BTW, if you decide to get Word Press installed at your site, check out On the Third Hand. The blog owner installs scripts for a reasonable price ($15.00 for a Word Press installation the last I checked).

This is definitely a great idea for a thread...Thanks for bringing it up.

I started a blog to track my progress in developing an RPG Project from start to finish.

http://mobiumrpg.blogspot.com/

The thinking was...Anyone who came upon it would become privy to the thought process behind the creative and business decisions. Sort of a...'Behind the Curtain' look at the poor guy pulling the levers.

That way...No matter how successful the project might become, the blog would exist to document the effort.

I haven't kept it up as much as I should (primarily due to the business and creative concerns of the book project); but it's still been a great tool to monitor my own progress on a monthly basis.

I'm due for another entry within the next 3-5 days; so check back if you're at all interested.

I have a blog, but it's not particularly gaming-related. Mostly it's just a diary of stuff that happens in my life so my mom can keep track of what's going on with me, so I don't have to actually talk to her. :)

It's also an interesting insight into the world of IT consulting.
