and all i wanted to do was use True Strike on the weakest attack when I power attack. nothing special or new.

Get a True Strike, use-activated, unlimited charges item that is a free action to use. It would only cost roughly 90,000gp, as opposed to 2,000gp. That's not that much of a difference.
