I want to play a deaf from birth character and had considered making up a template. Things like Spot +4, Sense Motive +4, listen N/A. things like that. Anyone have a template they already use? Anyone have any ideas?

Just make him deaf per the rules in the books. I don't think there is any reason to create a template for it.

I was looking for someone deaf from birth. IIRC the book rules only deal with domeone who has become deaf. I want something similar to blindborn but born without hearing.

Someone deaf from birth would still have the "deaf" condition. Moreover, they would be cured very quickly as an adventurer with lots of money, particularly once the party cleric got to 5th level.

I think what you are looking for is someone born without ears, or a race without ears.

What if they didnt want to be cured? What if they couldnt be? Someone without ears would work just as well though.

Why wouldn't they want to be cured? What person with a disability wouldn't want to be cured of their affliction?

Perhaps they've become so comfortable with it and can function so normally that they dont consider it a disability any more.
