Do you homebrew your own worlds?

When I started playing, you had to make your own world. Since then, I've bought a lot of other people's worlds, but I've only used them to mine for ideas.

Homebrew fer shur, though I like the idea of using Midnight or some other pre-fab setting.

It seems about as easy to memorize someone else's stuff as it is to make stuff up.
