main plot revolved around a surpressed order of Wizards.

sigh...perhaps if I'd given each PC a lightsaber.

I once ran a Dark Sun game based on a Scooby Do episode. None of the players caught on until the very end, when the dastardly Templar Mandax was arrested and exclaimed "I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and that dumb rasclinn!"
