Silly hu-mon. Of course elf poo stink if you're not there. You just have the pleasure of not sniffing it! Everyone else though suffers.

Of course they do. The better question is what do they use to wipe themselves after. My guesses are leaves and pinecones, hence the depressed/constipated look on their face.
