I would like it if the game rewarded social abilities & skills by allowing those to give advantages in marriage and offspring. For instance, if a more charismatic knight (possibly at the expense of fighting ability) has a stronger family, then the player is rewarded for those character choices when it comes time for the next generation to take over--as opposed to the combat-emphasized player character who perhaps has only a squire to continue the game.
