Does anyone here watch Alias?

I always tape Alias and Angel, altho if I had to pick one I'd probably choose Alias. That's not a slight on Angel, at all which I go through a decent amount of trouble to record. As for the other shows on at that hour: It's not the best time slot to be in. I was happier with Angel being on Mondays. I wish they would move it back (even against the football games).

BTW, has anyone here tried out the old or new Alias web-game?

I am shocked that it hasn't done better in the ratings...

It could be that the promo's for the show suck. All I remember seeing in the promos this year are mother spy and father spy with little spy girl caught in the middle. Frigin LAME.

I saw the first episode and noticed that every one of the thousand bullets fires missed their target. After that I said fooey. I don't really need another show to watch but am surprised about the good reviews. Keep on enjoying the show.

Oh yeah. There was one for the first season as well, but it was less straightforward.

Hmmm. I haven't really seen the promos so I can't really comment.

All ABC needs to do is show some good-looking scenes with Jennifer Garner kicking ass or simply just standing there. That should do the trick. Or just show some action scenes. They are all pretty good.

Well, take a look at what else is on Sundays at 9 pm: The Sopranos, a Law & Order spinoff (Criminal Intent ), Malcolm in the Middle (now that the baseball playoffs are over), Angel, etc. That's some hefty competition; I know that I have or would watch any of 'em, if they weren't all on at the same time. Right now, I tape Angel and watch Alias (or tape both, if I won't be at home).

That's a great point coyote6! I really don't watch TV (except for football & Alias) and didn't realize that the show does indeed face some 'hefty competition'!

KTT, the promos for the show could definitely be better...i.e. show more action! I think the promos for the first season were alot better...

As for all the bullets missing their targets, I think they have 'remedied' that this season...guess they were 'practicing' in the first season!

I think you just may be right though! Guess I really didn't think about how 'lame' the promos have been until KTT mentioned it. Of course, I was probably just fixated on Jennifer Garner and totally ignored everything else!

Yeah, seriously, the "good guys" have been getting their butts kicked constantly in this season. Not as often as "24", but often enough.

The way I see it, it's hard to ignore her. Not only is she drop-dead gorgeous but she is a great actress to boot. She can do the action scenes and the emotional scenes and make it seem plausible. That's hard for any actor to do.
