does anyone know a website where they have 3rd Edition Deities/Demigods?

sry. i thought it was like feats/skills/classes etc.
That doesn't make it open content. Sword and Fist, Tome and Blood, Epic Level Handbook, Savage Species and all the feats, etc. contained there-in are closed content from WotC.

The list of open content is pretty clear. It's in the SRD, to which Darrin provided a link. It has nothing to do with what sort of content it is (feat, spell, whatever), only bits that WotC has specifically released.

But, it sounds like you honestly didn't know that. Now you do.

Isn't some information on the core gods in the PHB open content? Like the gods domains, favored weapon, etc.

i do kno some of it is open game content.

what i was really looking for is a list of egyptian and oriental gods/deities and converted to 3rd edition format. i don't really need the book persay. and i'm fairly sure that is open game content.

and i did look at the rules on open game content. fansites with book content is allowed to a certain extent. i.e: you can use the rules and format of your characters/critters and post them on your website. u just can't say that others are forbidden from using it in thier games.

Nope, the core gods are totally absent from the SRD. They're just not there.

I think it would be nice if, like WotC said, parts of the ELH and Deities&Demigods were added to the SRD.

I think the pantheons inspired by real-world mythologies (asgardian, olympian, pharaonic) could be put in the SRD. WotC can't claim the IP on Zeus or Horus, and examples of gods is what lacks from the SRD.

If you want the "official" conversions, you'll need the "official" books (the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting has a number of Egyptian (aka Mulhorandi) deities; I'm guessing that Oriental Adventures has the other group of gods).

Copyrighted content is copyrighted content. If it's not in the SRD, open your wallet.

Since you're looking for information that isn't shared here, I'll shut this down. As always, your best bet is to buy a copy new or (less expensively) on ebay.

Thanks for letting Jakathi know the rules, all. :D
