Does anyone still play in Greyhawk?

My group has been playing a campaign in the Keoland part of Greyhawk for about 2 and 1/2 years. Its been great.

I highly recommend the books that came out right before 3.0. A lot of people did not like them and I don't know why. I thought they were and still are, some of the best resource books for GH ever.

"Ivid the Undying"? Whazzat?

Ivid the Undying was a product detailing the Aerdi lands that was supposed to be released as part of the series that followed the From the Ashes boxed set back in the 2e days. A few adventure modules were released, and the excellent Furyondy/Nyrond sourcebook The Marklands. Ivid was supposed to be next but the line got cancelled before it saw print. But it had already been written, so TSR released it as a free electronic download, minus the cover art and all that. I have no idea whether or not it's still available but if so I recommend it as a great sourcebook on the lands of the former Great Kingdom.

There are a lot of folks using Greyhawk by choice as their home campaigns.
For a partial listing of Greyhawk online resources---including various messageboards where Greyhawk in your home campaign is the main feature of discussion---see my web site at http://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/gh_links.html (at 12:22 PST the site's host is apparently down, so check back when it's back online).

Holy frickin' crap! Grodog, that is an awesome link. I can't thank you enough for that tip. Man, Greyhawk is lookin' good!

Whattaya mean still? I never did use Greyhawk!

I like the setting well enough, I suppose, but I can never run a published setting; homebrewing is one of the parts of the hobby that I enjoy too much.

I could play in Greyhawk, but for whatever reason haven't ever done so.

When I play selected adventures out of Dungeon, I usually use Greyhawk. When I do a one-shot adventure or introduce someone to the game, I also use Greyhawk.

It is not my primary campaign right now, but like an old friend--it is there when I need it.

We are running all of the Adventure Path modules in Greyhawk for our current campaign. We are about halfway through -- we have lots of side adventures involving political intrigue in and around the City of Greyhawk.

Not playing in GH currently, but when the current campaign winds down, we may do so. If we do, I'll roll back the clock and convert the old 1E stuff and make a decision about the wars, etc.. when i run out of ideas.

Either that or we'll dump D&D in favor of hackmaster for a while.
