Yes, but that's irrelevant - the arrow isn't a +1 arrow. Magical bows don't help their proejctiles bypass DR - and that, my friend, is in the DMG.

Good lord. As bad as the Order of the Bow Initiate was in the combat vs. the gargoyles, I shudder to think how it would've been if he'd been doing fire damage as well.
