Does the KotS Half-Elf Cleric need fixing?

Right now, he won't get a whole lot out of his Charisma, but thinking about future development, there are many powers which benefit from Wisdom and Charisma.

He's gotta survive low levels before he can think about future developments

The elven cleric archer archetype is rapidly emerging as one of my favourite concepts. It might be a viable alternative, especially if you feel that the party already has enough melee combatants as is.
