Does this kind of Thing Exist?

Oversquid

First Post
Heres some background. I DM a game on IRC as the distance is too great between us all to meet in person. Now, I like to post and play music as atmosphere during a session, and I found that some stuff that I want to post aren't on sites like youtube at all. Now I don't want to post copyrighted music up on youtube (it still happens a lot, but I'd rather not do it), and so with that said, I can now carry on with my request.

Is there such a site on the whole of the internet that would allow me to synch my iTunes Library with it so that my players can hear the music I post for them? But then at the same time, be able to unsynch it when I'm done?

I've heard of Soundcloud, but I don't know if such a feature exists on it.

With that said, do you guys know of a site like what I'm asking about?

I wonder if dropbox might work - upload your songs to a public folder with a playlist and let your players have access to it.

It won't sync perfectly - they have the songs, but you may have to cue them to switch to a specific tune for a certain atmosphere.

Another option - of which I know almost nothing, hopefully someone else might - is it possible to set up a internet radio station that only a select few could access?

The internet radio station would be wonderful, if only either of us knew where to start with that huh?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but it has a great selection of music: www.grooveshark.com
It's sort of a glorified Pandora with the ability to create your own playlist under your username; whenever you sign in that playlist is available.
