1 million dollar line has been crossed :)

And I'll also expect it to end somewhere in the vicinity of $1.5M - most of the people who like it are probably onboard already.
I am on the fence, and won't have the fund for it for a couple weeks anyway. It will really depend on whether I feel like it will work well with Worlds Without Number.

For WWN, I don't have a good intuition on how much work conversion would be (I have it for a while, but haven't really read it). My personal ranking would be:
1. Run it as is (i.e. with OSE)
2. Run it with Beyond the Wall
3. Run it with Forbidden Lands
...
5. Run it with a home brew system (ranked so low, because there's really only bullet point drafts at this point)

For those of you on the fence: a deep-dive into the Player's Book. As a Patreon-supporter I can tell you that if you watch this video, you'll have quite enough to make an informed decision.
Of course, you haven't seen the Campaign Book (detailing the world) yet, but this gives great insight into the "flavour" of the game!

I'm not going to use OSE. But isn't Forbidden Lands a YZE game?

Yes, it is. From a power-level perspective, I find it to be comparable to OSR games, though. And it also has a decent amount of random tables and rules for exploration/travel. However, using it would require more work, I think, since both the specific elements of Dolmenwood would need to be added, and all stats need to be converted (I have seen conversions for Dark Sun already, so I think it's doable in general).

I just asked because I figured that would be a ton of conversion work, certainly more than another OSR game like WWN.

I think it would be easier to take the existing OSE based rules and layer on some stuff and mechanics from YZE than covert from the ground up. I'm going to run it out of the box first and then decide if I want to finish the Fae-based OSR rules I was already working on. IDK yet.
