Works from my house, just not from the office. The weird thing is that I'm not getting a "page not found" error or anything like that. In fact, I don't get an error at all. Trying to go to www.enworld.org just leads me to http://www.enworld.org/default.php, but the page is completely blank. When I try http://www.enworld.org/forums/index.php, it just sits there forever trying to load, but doesn't stop or error out. The site isn't blocked at our firewall, since the main page actually does load (it just loads blank). I've never seen a DNS problem like this, so I figured I'd ask.
That's weird. It shouldn't go to default.php - it should go to index.php. You're being redirected to the wrong place. I'm stumped - I'll have a look see if there is a default.php and delete it if there is.
Hmm, was working for me at 6:15 PM MDT from work. It's been working for me from home.
General DNS records look fine. (For those that want to ever check, use www.dnsreport.com. It does a good job providing a 3rd party sanity check for your DNS records.)
kreynolds, does your work use a proxy? Does it use any content filtering software? If so, and the boards are slow, you can see a problem loading the page if a timeout occurs. Generally, that will provide an error, but if it goes through a proxy, it might now.
Still, none of that would provide an explanation for a bad redirect. Hmm....
