Domination

Assuming that the victim has failed their save and has been dominated and set a task by the caster, does domination end if the caster is later killed before the spell expires, or does the victim continue to follow out their task until the spell expires or the task is complete?

Most spells don't end just because the caster does, unless they're "Duration: Concentration" or some specific clause. So I'd say the victim would continue to carry out the assigned task.

So is that the generally considered opinion then: that spells continue until their duration expires (or some other event causes them to end) even if the caster is dead?
