Father Beacom bares his teeth in what you presume is intended to be a welcoming smile but looks more like the welcome one might receive from a rabid dog. Brother Haams' nose twitches at the glare from Lizt and his hands close over the coins. His eyes meet Alois' and he inclines his head in acknowledgement of the man's greater donation. "Come," commands Father Beacom. The priest turns and enters the building, probably the only stone building in all of Hirot. Brother Haams follows and ducks out of sight into a side door and Brother Aker takes up a position by the door like a door guard. The interior of the Chapel of Justicia is empty of other worshipers, not surprising with Father Beacom's gloomy, hard-nosed stance on Hirot's current troubles. The worship area is overlooked by a stained glass rose window. The image depicted within is a warrior-woman, presumably Justicia, slaying a wolfish demon with a great warhammer. Below the stained glass window is the altar hidden from view by a curtain. Father Beacom gathers the group together and stretches out his arms to begin a long-winded prayer extolling Justicia's virtues, denouncing humankind's failings and begging for the goddess's mercy. It is during this that you notice the youth, Llorre, has attached himself to the group as he shuffles and his eyes dart about the chapel. Finally, Beacom winds down and gives the traditional ending to prayers. "May those gathered receive justice or mercy as they deserve." [sblock=OOC]Lawful and Neutral characters receive a +1 to their Luck score.[/sblock]
