[QUOTE="GlassEye, post: 6581677, member: 40413"] For his own undiscernable reasons, or perhaps for the contrariness of it, Bobugbubilz refuses Kurl's spell. Kurl doesn't sense any anger directed his way from the demon god of amphibians but senses the god may be a bit easier to annoy for a while... Boral's casting of Enlarge goes awry and the complex arcane formulas slip from his mind until he has time to rest and restudy his grimoire. The clear water of the pool proves deceptively deep and Tender stumbles at the water's edge. Thrown off balance he isn't quite as able to defend himself as surely as he might normally manage. Lizt's blade slice through the serpentine water elemental with a spray of droplets. The form of the creature flowed back together and Lizt isn't certain her attack had any effect at all. Franko's magic missile, shaped like a ball of lightning and powered by the souls of the thousands dead on an alien world, darts past his companions and impacts the manifestation of Azbog the Serpent. Lightning plays over the surface of the water and Tender feels a tingle across his skin and up to the roots of his hair. The elemental collapses in a splash that sends water lapping over the edge of the pool. Homer rushes in just in time to get covered in spray as the elemental is dispersed. Hank is already in the midst of casting when Franko obliterates the creature but it is too late and the spell slips through his fingers to be lost until he can refresh his mind and study again. With Azbog's manifestation destroyed the exterior of the serpent mound falls quiet (barring Llore's muttered words of amazement). Ripples die down and the group is left with the pool and the etched stone barring entrance to the grave. [sblock=OOC] Kurl: Disapproval on nat 1-2 Boral: Lost spells: Enlarge Hank: Lost spells: Chill Touch Clearly, Deuce has angered the dice gods. I wouldn't stand next to him if I were you.
