Down the Pipe!

I consider G.I. Joe filecards to be great literature, so I always liked the idea of a character who went from cook to heavy machine gunner, or personel clerk to counterintelligence agent.

And for Steven Segal fans, you can now take you Aikido Master / Navy SEAL and pick up a level of Specialist when he gets reassigned as a cook.

Well if you think that (and I wholeheartedly agree) then you will like BNG Soldiers a lot. I actually fielded a question from Chris, my beloved, sage and wise employer (he's a handsome man too) to the effect of "Chaplain's Assistants, Band members, supply clerks, is anyone going to want to play these?"

My reaction... yes!

Glad to see I'm not entirely alone lol.

LOL... yes, I know the feeling.

Our GM threw together a one-off that was very Half-Life-ish, we didnt really know what was coming but knew it had some military base involved. So what did we come up with? A Helicopter pilot-transporter, a Military EMT, a Realtor and an Insurance Agent. All very handy when the super-sublevel-secret-base went into lock-down and zombies started trying to eat our heads :). It was fun.

Oops sorry man, I'll make a note of that right here... next to my "*Giants* grind your bones for bread, *not* Ogres" entry.

I will confirm that it is not Blood and Pulp... which isn't to say that isn't a great idea :)

Something else I can (I think) let you guys in on is that we are about to begin a weekly e-zine on a trial 3 month period.

We'll have 4 columns (one per week) focusing on mini-adventures, locations, NPCs, and crunch (new classes and feats) for your d20 Modern game.

Each column will be about 4 pages and will focus on all aspects on d20 Modern including our Darwin's World and Blood lines.

Each month the weekly columns will be collected into a PDF you can buy seperately, though this will be free for subscribers.
