Re: mecha addicts

But what about those that do? The idea of using a Hunter Commando against a dragon sounds appealing. :D

Certainly. And yes, it's feasable! (Though you'll probably need more than one, depending on the dragon...)

How much of the book is going to be fantasy based ala Blastfurnance and how much sci-fi?

The book is divided almost equally into fantasy (4 settings), modern (3 settings) and future (4 settings).

Hm... how much tweaking would it take to do something like Xenogears? With all the cool stuff coming out lately, I've been bouncing around ideas like crazy - trying to cram as much as possible into the single campaign I might have time to run. ;)

Not having seen the latest, I don't know. You can surely use one of the settings we provide and use those stats for the time being.

(You'll need D20 Mecha, from Guardians of Order, to actually do the stats on Xenogear specs.)

You should have plenty of cool stuff to use in this book, then. :)

It's done!

The d20 Mecha Compendium has left our offices for the printer. Expect it to reach the shelves of your local game store sometimes in late February or early March.

I'm a bit too busted right now, but I will post some new samples as well as the cover on the Web site this week. :)
