Won't that give the later entrants an unfair advantage over the early adopters?

Didn't do the Haiku contest any harm. Besides, there's nothing in the rules about being limited to only one entry, so if the entries start getting consistently better as the thread goes on, you can always enter a second time. It's all in the name of fun - shouldn't be taken too seriously.

He he I'm almost thinking of coming to you earlier now so I can be part of the judging process Russ :) , after all I did pester your life and this site with my presence for quite some time :D

I will however spend christmas at home though ;)

Great Idea! I'm starting my research now, and no one on the boards will be safe from my Epic Length ENWorld Messageboarders Roast!

Maybe this thread can be sticky too, so people don't post comments in the wrong thread?

Also -- is the 400 Word minimum thing a fast rule? So for example,
Simplicity's would not qualify...

Thanks!:D

Pielorinho, thank you!

BFG, good point... and crap. I've only got 150 words,
and there's no way that story's going to be expanded
into 400 words. Although, I think 400 words might be kind
of lengthy for most Dr. Seuss, myself.

Oh well, at least one person liked it... :-(

Oh no -- I LOVED it! That's why I'm lobbying for it's acceptance - along with others of this length that I might enjoy reading...

Thanks, guys. :-)

I really liked the Cthulu alphabet. Reminds me of
those old Edward Gorey books...

"A is for Amy who fell down the stairs.
B is for Basil assaulted by bears..."
