Dragon 295 -- Poster Map -- 5th floor stable?

The poster map in the new Dragon is lovely. But why is there a stable on the 5th floor? And how do the steeds get up there? And where the heck does that ramp go?

Or is this for aerial steeds and the ramp goes to the roof?

Does it have a big window or door that leads outside? Or maybe the horse are trained to whipe their hooves before entering. :)

Well, heck, it's only 5d6 worth of falling damage - and a heavy warhorse has 30 hit points. You figure it out.

...getting the horse to drink the spider climb potion to get back in might be tough, though...

I just got my Dragon copy today and was looking at it during lunch, and I noticed the same thing about the stables and ramp.

I decided that if I used this keep, I'd move the stable to the ground floor and make the ramp exit outside, and make the first floor the second floor with a narrow ramp or set of stair leading up to the main entrance. It would be easier to defend that way, too.

Oh, and I'd move the trap door going to the roof to the other side so it would line up with the common room/open space on the floor with the main bedrooms. That way the trap door wouldn't open into the master bedroom.
