I also hear Malhavoc Press's Arcanna Unearthed will present all races as having levels that a character can advance in, just like classes.

Haggling? Are there at least fairly detailed rules for negotiating on prices? I desperately want to see such rules.

Not terribly detailed. It says the character can ask for up to 10% off, but the NPC gets a circumstance bonus depending on how much is asked. There's a 5-item table giving the results by how much the opposed check fails or succeeds.

Dragon OGC

Oathbound has something called "prestige races" as well; and didn't Hollingsworth work on that? If he or someone from the magazine is reading this, perhaps they could tell us whether the article involves any OGC.

The Prestige Races article is Dragon's first OGC. Prestige races first appeared in Oathbound, and the article in Dragon presents a completely OGC version of the idea.

So it's all new prestige races in that article? We won't see things like the Focus of the Shadow which already appeared in Oathbound? But we'll see completely new ones?

And is the issue is sort of the tie-in issue for Savage Species, except that it's a little more independant of it, compared to the previous ones?

I'd been meaning to get to that. Though they preview header is "Mercenaries," it seems to focus just as much on playing and running creatures. It's nice to see that it'll have articles by board members Ashy and Mearls.

Thanks, HI! And thanks, too, to Jesse Decker! Looks like I'll be subscribing soon.

Greetings!

The prestige races presented in Dragon are brand new and suitable for any fantasy world (and that means you could use them in the Oathbound setting).

Oathbound: Plains of Penance (our February release) has five more new prestige races.

Hello!
Damn you...you have 303 already?....

Here in Poland, we have 301...and the Mecha Crusade Poly issue....

So, without any further jabbering I'll ask some questions I wanna ask: (concering the Invisible Blade PrC)

1. What are the abilities the class gains? I mean descriptions, not game mechanics (that is not allowed). Does it concentrate on TWF with daggers?
2. Is it hard to qualify for the class?
3. Is it a 5th or 10th level PrC?

Hope, if is not big trouble answering those....

Anyways...Merry Christmas!:D

No problem, I do little else here. Merry Christmas to you as well.

1. They get a some improved feinting abilities, some sneak attacks, can add their int bonus to AC, and inflict bleeding wounds. There's no mention of TWF.

2. Characters can't take the class before at least 6th level because of the skill rank requirements. They have to take a couple feats they'd probably want anyway, another one they might, and win a combat that meets a few conditions. A non-rogue would have to be really committed to the concept, though if your using only the core books, a bard might not be giving up that much.

3. It's five levels.
