Dragon #322 Arrived Today

I saw a ninja flip out once and chop the head off a samurai and a knight in plate mail. All they did was interupt his lunch, asking for directions.

Let's also take into account the simple fact that the European knight, as a white man, is going to be superior in most respects to a samurai, who is typically some kind of Chinaman.

But if it were some sort of contest to see who can be the most inscrutable...smart money is on the Chinaman. Totally inscrutable. Couldn't scrut one of those guys on the scrutinest day of your life with an electric scruting machine.

Yeah Thal, what about the Deathstalker and the one for Kiaransalee? Any info regarding recent activities, NPCs of this class? (Perhaps maybe mention of one or both encountering maybe a certain Demon Prince of Undead)

Also descriptions regarding Erebus would be nice too. :)

I've seen a katana cut through metal.
I meant metal plate armor.

And though I'm against weapon speed factor, a katana would be a lot easier and faster to wield over the heavier bastard sword.

Actually, they pretty much weigh the same amount. As a matter of fact, the stances for the two weapons was pretty much identical.

Eh, haole. Why would a Chinaman be donning a Japanese armor?

Whats the Deathstalker of Bhaal PrC like?
They murder in the name of Bhaal to bring him back to life. They must murder at least once every tenday in the heart of the night.
Prereqs: LE, Hide 5 ranks, Move Silently 5 ranks, Survival 2 ranks, Quick Draw, ability to cast 3rd level divine spells. (Clerics must have access to the Death or Destruction domain). Must have murdered at least 16 sentient creatures using 16 different weapons or methods.
Dethstalkers have good Will saves. Every 2 levels they gain +1 level in casting ability of 1 existing divine spellcasting class. Specials include Death Attack (after 3 rounds of study, a successful sneak attack can either kill or paralyze, your choice, if victim fails Fort save), Sneak Attack +1d6 at even levels (stacks with existing abilities), Bloodlust (Rage a victim to attack another), and Last Breath of Bhaal (if slain in the service of Bhaal, affected as by Raise Dead cast by 12th level cleric).

No prestige class for Kiaransalee. No mention of said encounters.

Erebus is "perhaps one of the first gods." NE, Lesser Diety. Portfolio: Darkness, Lies, Night, Shadows. Domains: Darkness, Evil, Trickery.

Shadow Apostle requirements: non-good, Hide 4 ranks, Spellcraft 8 ranks, abilty to cast 4th level arcane or divine spells.
d8 HD, 2 Skill Points. Poor BAB advancement, good Will save, new spells per day as if gained level in a spellcasting class. Specials: Dark Spell Focus, Summon Darkness Psuedo-Elemental (1 hour per SA level), Low-light Vision, Shadow Resistance (bonus to saves against darkness or shadow spells), Darkvision, Shadow Blend (total concealment in shadows).

Interesting

Does it say which gods the Deathstalkers of Bhaal serve?

Given the Preqs it really can only be 3 gods

Bane
Kossuth
Velsharoon
