Dragon #336

Tul-oc-luc is the arcanaloth in WG6 Isle of the Ape. As I recall, he's dispatched by Iggwilv to the Isle to try and get the Crook of Rao before the PCs do. I don't know much else, but I doubt he's involved with any of the major yugoloth power players.

Well if he's just with Iggy I doubt he's a yugoloth main stay/player. Iggy strikes me as something of a loose cannon for most Loths to not want to get involved with her.

And yeah, I don't think anyone saw a connection with Iggwilv and Demogorgon in the works...but it makes sense, IMHO.

Eh if you say so Al. Me I'd say Iggy's courting death on toast doing that. I mean the only other worse idea is working with Orcus, Demorgogon AND Graz'zt at the same time. Now that's just plain trouble no matter what language your talking.

Hi,

Both these issues look great -- particularly looking forward to the Iggwilv article as she was a key villain in my Greyhawk campaign (which featured Return of the Eight).

I prefer the fluffier/less crunch approach recently. I'm finding Dragon just as useful and much more fun to read.

Cheers

Richard

can't wait to have a look at this one... it seems like everyone else in the universe has a copy of Dragon before i've even seen it. :D

Hey, Alzrius.

I'm glad you enjoyed reading "Birth of the Dead." It was, indeed, among the more fun articles to write.

I must second the kudos on this article. I was excited enough to wake up my gamer girlfriend about it. *lol*

I got my issue last night and immediately tore into it.

I am so pleased with this issue. Haunted Houses and Birth of the Dead were excellent articles and I got so many ideas off of them that I am actually changing the focus and "meta-plot" of my current campaign.

I liked the Class Acts articles quite a bit, too. I especially liked the ideas for the sorcerer (sacrifice two 0-level spells to get a minor quirky ability). I'd like to see more sorcerer customizations in the future, because I think it makes the class a whole lot more fun to play. :)

Wormfood: by Jeremy Walker. This Wormfood article taks about entertainment that the PCs can find in the Free City. It gives an overview of three establishments, mentioning with abbreviated (alignment gender race class) listings the important NPCs there. A sidebar also gives a quick overview of a dice game people in the City play.

What's Wormfood again?

And do understand this right: There's descriptions of establishments in the Free City (of Greyhawk) ?
