I find it odd that they recommend Implement Expertise and also, if you plan to make weapon attacks, Weapon Expertise. Is this not EXACTLY what Focused Expertise is for?

And then there was this sentence, which started out the section on recommended feats:

"Let’s start with the no-brainer: Implement Expertise
from Player’s Handbook 2..."


That's exactly the problem WotC. More fuel for the feat tax debate...

Ugh. Looks like its also going to reopen the "can I use magic item properties to make an weapon-implement change its damage type" can of worms (in contrast to the FAQ and other evidence). Grrr.

The FAQ is the only evidence to suggest you can't and I believe you mean weapon powers not properties.
