Dragon #400

Something called Epic Campaign is running twice a week. Wonder what that is. I'm still a year or more away from Epic, but I'm hoping that buy the time my game gets there there will be support.
Sadly, it's nothing to do with epic tier support and in fact is Epic Campain. It's a comic they are running on the site.

The concept sounds funny though.

Looks like they are going all out. Like normal, there are going to be hit-or-miss with some of these articles. I hope that's not why they slapped "play test" on some of them. Then again, having it on there isn't so bad. In fact I kinda like it.

Well, I know the 9 Hells article is good.

The rest looks promising. I am actually curious about dragon chess, and if it really does have a following. That was from #100, and one of the last articles Gygax had in Dragon, but I guess that is another topic.

By now they've added a playtest for hybrids and multiclassing in the TOC. Color me surprised.
I am very interested in this one. This, to me, is the missing link between Essentials and "regular" 4e. Can't wait!!

I also like that, as it indicates to me at least the intent to revisit the item if it doesn't work well enough, unlike a lot of the previous content which is left twisting in the breeze amongst the other boring, underpowered choices, never to be errata'd either into usefulness, or out of existence.

WHOA!

The TOC now lists a "Bazaar of the Bizarre: Wrought from Gloom" article, by Rob Schwalb and me! These must be some of the items that were created for Heroes of Shadow but didn't fit into the final book! I'm giddy!
