Quality on both Dungeon and Dragon have been pretty high lately...they aren't long...but good stuff.

As for engines of war...I see the treant and the chariot...I want to see the other two!

I haven't seen them, but I'm thinking of subscription in Feb, a last farrewell as it were. I have looked at the reviews on the Optimization forum and honestly thier harsh. At least I think people like the level 6 racial power, although I have no idea what that power does :D. The biggest bone of contention on the forum appears to be the low to hit chance, +6 vs. the +9 they think it should be at epic, that the bladling unarmed feat is too weak I think. One person suggested that Bladling unarmed attacks count as light blades. Personally I think a Bladling Blackguard could be cool, and honestly I'm not a diva like people on the OP board, so stuff like a feat expanding the area of Razor Storm is cool. My idea is for a Bladling who grew up in a Mercanary outpost in Brightwater, Rapture Quarter, Plane of Gates of the Moon. Worships Sharess, Rides a Manticore (a mount that shoots spikes some how fits a Bladling, and I believe any mounts a Bladling rides isn't effected by Razor Storm). Maybe Dympire feat, to go with what I've deduced is the barbed trait. I like that the idea of a race of Planar Mercanaries. I just hope it explains how bladlings sleep, mate, and so on with all the those blades everywhere. Paying for inn materesses must get expensive, and the Gods help anyone who happens to be sharing the bladlings bed if the bladling rolls around in thier sleep. They've got to have a way to retract the blades, like Wolverine.

I have no problem with bladelings of a less wild disposition (i.e., unlike those in the Manual of the Planes) to "relax" their blades and spines when resting, so that they're more flush with their bodies.
