KotDT for me! Strangely, I don't really care for the OotS as it appears in the magazine but love the strip online. Don't ask me why.

Yo Jolly!

Hjorimir: I know how you feel. For me I think it's the fact the strip didn't START in Dragon it was imported after it was already wildly popular. I'm not sure any other strip had that happen.

My favorite was the old Snarfquest. :)

Ya know ... I never really thought Wormy was funny. :\ A lot of my rpg friends did (and do) but somehow for me it was always a "Meh...." reaction that come forth whenever I finished one.

Ah well.

I also find I enjoy OotS more online, for some reason.

And Phil and Dixie was great stuff - can't forget them!

But for some reason Snarfquest just stuck with me as the most enjoyable, despite some of his more "whiney" qualities ... later on I thought his personality a forerunner of DarkWing Dark for some reason. :p

I wonder if it's because the online OotS has a storyline, whereas the ones that run in Dragon are fundamentally non-canon one-offs, sort of like the very early strips in the series?

Dunno about Darkwing Duck, but I do know that Elmore got very angry with George Lucas for, in Elmore's mind, ripping off Snarf with Jar Jar Binks.

I wasn't reading Dragon during the period KotDT was being published in it, but since I read it now, it got my vote.

I love Zogonia.

I also love OotS, but generally only the strips that deal with laughing about D&D archetypes.

As for the others, it's more a matter of unfamiliarity. I do like Dork Tower, but I couldn't quite put it up there with my "favorites."

Snarfquest!

I thought Wormy was beautiful artwork though. There was so much going on the panels that it was fun to just look at.

:( Not much love for Finieous. You guys are too young! :p

You can definitely see a pattern of the older comics getting less votes. IMO, it even applies to Wormy (that only fails as the perfect Dragon comic because it just disappeared).

I loved Fineous Fingers and wish I could have a collection of all the non-Dragon strips along with the Dragon strips that didn't appear in the collection. It was OotS long before there was an OotS.
