Dragon Archive with WinXP?

I recently tried installing the Dragon Archive software on my newly updated WinXP box. But for some reason the program just doesnt want to run bringing up the error 'unexpected exception has occured'.

So I'm wondering is there a patch to make it work with XP?

As I don't have windows XP, I can't provide a solution to your problem... but if worse comes to worse, all is not totaly lost... they are just PDF files, you could open them with Acrobat I think (never really tried, but I don't see why not)

Yeah, it works but I was looking at doing some searching thus I wanted to install the search engine. I was hoping to avoid doing it manually.

I've got XP, and I've not had a problem with it. Have you tried going into properties and using the "make this program think this is Win 95/98" compatabilty options?

Yeah, I tried that. Didnt help. Hmmm...if it works for you in XP, I wonder what it is then.
