Dragon back issues

I know what you're saying. Ah, jeez, not another request for Dragon back issues. That's not it.

One thing I noticed in Dragon #299 is that Paizo is now selling back issues of Dragon back to #274 at a wallet busting price of $6 each. The only one not available that I noticed was the Steampunk issue #277.

Pay $50 for 274/275 on eBay? I feel your pain.

Heh.... So it was normal? I had some of my 3E Dragons go for in the $30 range on eBay. (Of course, some went for $3.... Oh well, it all balances out in the end.)

I'm assuming you're being ironic when you say "a wallet busting price of $6 each," as that is the standard price for Dragon and Dungeon lately.

I wish they'd put out a second Dragon Archive, but that's apparently not profitable enough. *sigh*

Yep, going for irony. Mission somewhat successful.

What kind of a moron paid $30-$50 for a Dragon magazine? I enjoy the magazines myself, and have a subscription, but there isn't a single issue I would pay $10 for, much less $50.

Probably the same moron who paid $425 for a "playstation 2 original box and reciept" and got, you guessed it, a box and a reciept.

The kind of person who has lots of money now, but didn't have the money then.

It's why I paid $100 for the Complete Book of Necromancers. Now, I wish I had saved that $100, since I don't think I spent more than five hours looking at that book....

There's more than one person I saw paying that much. I even capitalized on it and would be lying if I said I hadn't thought of getting some "rare" back issues and selling them again to the Ebayers. Perhaps they can't get DRAGON where they live? Or maybe these first 3e issues are worth something because Miss Cleo says they will be. ;p
