I was planning on going, but it looks like I will be spending all my mad money for the year at GenCon.... maybe next year....

Sovereign Press will be there in full glory... as usual... 'course, it doesn't hurt that James Marsters is gonna be there... although my SO is going to be there too, so I can't get too giddy over that one

It was a blast last year, although it was weird... I partied harder at GenCon than I did at Dragon*Con... figure that one out!

I know that I'll be going and it would be fun to meet ENworlders, if there is a meeting of the minds. Other than browsing and partying with my younger brother's friends, who normally rent out a suite, I'll be trying to find free games in the RPG hall.

Last year it was pretty lean for the number of gamers at the Con. Very different from GenCon (I grew up in Milwaukee), where there are literally 100's of games being run each day.

Does anyone know of a Con in the city where people actually play games? I know that DragonCon pressed out a lot of its competition, but it seems that with a city this large there would be something going on.

P.S. Please keep in mind that I live and work downtown and have been w/o a car for a few years now.
