Dragon Disciple... for Half-Dragons?

First Post
I'm running a game that has reached high-level (13), and I'm just thinking ahead for one of the NPCs that the group adventures with: A half-dragon/ogre. I just read the epic progression for dragon disciple on the WotC site, and wondered: Couldn't I turn this lvl 11-20 progression into its own lvl 1-10 Epic Prestige Class for true Half-Dragons? It appears to be a relatively simple matter. but I'm curious as to what pre-requisites I should set for it?

Wow, I like this idea!

Prereqs, eh? Hmmm... Just to throw out an idea, maybe the character must have either BAB +21 (including epic attack bonus), three base saves at +12, ninth level spells or sneak attack +10d6. That keeps it pretty broad-based, allowing almost any class to get in pretty early in their epic career. (Oh, and the character must be a half-dragon to take it, of course.)

there is also a PrC from Miniatures Handbook called Dragon Samarai that allows half-dragons and may be adaptable.

i don't know the specifics (cuz i was a player and not the DM) but if you read the last 10 posts or so in the story hour in my sig... we fought a half-dragon/half-drow with levels of sorc and i believe the DM may have added Dragon Disciple to his classes.

the reason i say this ... it had wings and a tail (normally Medium sized base monsters for a Half-Dragon template don't have wings only Large or greater) ..but Dragon Disciples are special ;) and gain wings.
