Dragon Disciple Variant (Anyone Seen One)

The Dragon Disciple in the Tomb & Blood book is very cool, but one of the players in my group was wanting to know if there was a variant on the idea that focuses more on the draconic spellcasting nature rather than the physical aspects.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen such a Variant of the Dragon Disciple?

I have not seen a prestige class as you describe (although I agree that the concept is cool). But, you might want to consider a recent article of Dragon (I think it was #315?) that focused on sorcerer bloodlines affected by draconic ancestors. It was feat-based, and affected spellcasting.
