[DRAGON / DUNGEON] Thank You! (Not a Rant)

I've enjoyed the issues in general, but the last few have been truely grand for me. While I can't find a fiend just right for my paladin, so I'll probably take a pass, the Tainted article was worth the price of the issue.

I think the magazine has been improving, and I do think they're listening to the fans.

I don't subscribe to Dungeon. I buy them occasionally, but as with adventures in general, I have a low usage ratio. Still decent stuff though.

Just wanted to add my praise for DRAGON and DUNGEON/POLYHEDRON Magazines - Everytime the latest issue arrives in the mail, I still get that same feeling of excitement and anticipation I used to get when I was a kid :)

Hats off to Paizo Publishing for that!

I want to add my praise for both magazines as well. I too get that tingle of excitment when each new issue arrives in my mail box. I always know there will something I can use to spice up my game. I'm also looking forward to reading sneak peeks and details about the upcoming core book revisions in July.

In fact, I'm getting a few of my friends subscriptions to Dragon for Christmas. I can't think of a better gift for a D&D player!

I'll chime in also:

Great work guys. I subscribe to Dungeon/Polyhedron and probably will for a long time to come. :)

The writing and quality of these magazines is really outstanding. I was glad (ok... thrilled beyond belief) to see PX Poker Night included in the latest issue. The mini-games are cool, but I was glad to see other content. You guys absolutely rock.

A Happy Customer

I just renewed my DRAGON subscription for the next 3 years, in large part because of the current direction it has been taking. I love Campaign Components and the blend of "crunch" and "flavor". Keep it coming!

I've been a Dragon subscriber since right before third edition and these are some of the best issues that I've seen in those years. I've recently subscribed to Dungeon/Polyhedron as well and am just as impressed. You produce high quality work and should be proud.

PS: I've never seen such a positive thread on a message board it makes me so very happy!! :D

Wow!

Talk about a delightful Christmas present! We are incredibly thrilled about this thread. In all my years of publishing, I don't think I've EVER seen its equivalent (except in print publications that deliberately printed happy mail only in their letters column).

I want to thank everyone who participated in this thread. Thank you for being there for us and noticing what we're trying to do.

Speaking of trying--we're working on making the website a little more useful. You might want to check the Flashback column with the downloadable XML files. If you use these charts, it will throw your game way out of balance, but what the heck--they're fun! Let us know what you think of them. Just go to paizo.com and click on the flashback link in the right column.

Your happy Dragon and Dungeon/Polyhedron publisher,

I wanted to add my thanks to the pile.

I also wanted to say thanks for not just giving us those charts, but for pointing out Omnihedron. Looks very useful!

Coyote,

I run a couple of PBEM games (a Star Wars RPG game and a Traveller T20 game) and the Omnihedron dice roller is a terrific tool for me. I feel silly sitting at my desk by myself and rolling dice. Using the dice roller software works well. Plus, since I use the alternate roll for Defense (Defense minus 10) + d20 roll, the dice roller allows me to roll multiple d20s at the same time without having them all over my desk.

If lots of people like using charts with Omnihedron, we may have some other nice surprises for all of you in the future.
