Pathfinder 1E Dragon Eggs!

Hello all! I'm back with another post about Dragons. Thanks to all of you here at ENWorld I've come to understand allot about Dragons, and for that I thank everyone! However I still notice some areas of knowledge I have yet to gain. For the life of me I cannot seem to find information on Dragon eggs! Now I've already looked into the Draconomicon from 3.5, but I am looking for Pathfinder based information. I like the Draconomicon and I may end up being forced to use it if Pathfinder lacks the necessary supplements, but I would prefer a Pathfinder book. I want to know more about how to care for Dragon eggs, and general info on their life cycle from conception all the way through death. Can anyone help me out?

Pathfinder books I've already looked into:
Pathfinder Besitary I
Rise of the Rune Lords (book 4)
Dragons Revisited

There's several dragon-related Pathfinder books coming out later this year. They MAY have information, but probably not. (It's not the kind of thing that gamers worry a lot about, as a rule.)

I would either look at the Practical Guide to Dragons (from WotC's kids line, Mirrorstone), which talks about it as I recall (they also have a follow-up book about dragon riding that might have it as well) -- despite being for kids, these 100 percent fluff books are designed to be 100 percent compatible with existing D&D lore -- OR I would just make it up.

(In the old days, that's all we did: Just made it up.)

For the record, the Practical Guides are great, and get insufficient love. I use the fluff from the Practical Guide to Wizardry in all my D&D games, for instance.

Agreed. Dragon egg growth and life cycle information is fluff. Fluff is rules-neutral. There's no valid reason to exclude fluff from any game in a PF campaign, as long as no rules are harmed by the inclusion. I still use fluff from 1E AD&D and BECMI D&D in my own game setting, and the setting is much richer for it. So if you like the fluff from Draconomicon, then use the Draconomicon and don't worry about the edition difference (which is pretty minor anyway, seeing as PF is really D&D 3.75). Exclude the actual dragon statistics and spells, magic items, prestige classes etc., if you wish, but the fluff can still be used without the mechanical stuff.
