Dragon Feats?

First Post
Hey folks. I'm lookin' for some Dragon feats for that NPC of mine. I've got the ones from issue 296 of Dragon Mag, but I'm lookin' for more, especially ones for Breath Weapons. Are there any feats for breath weapons similar to metamagic feats?

there's a 'Dragon Mystic' PrC in one of the more recent dragon annuals that has the Metamagick Breath Weapon ability, basically just add the number of levels it normally enhances to the delay for the next breath weapon (example: Quickened Dragon Breath makes it so that they can't use their breath weapon again for 1d4+4 rounds)

Oh hell yeah! I forgot about those! Now...to make those into feats. :D

I just made this one up, but how about...

Widen Breath Weapon:

This feat enables a dragon to increase the volume of it's breath weapon. Cones extend 5' per age catagory of the dragon. Lines becone 10' longer per age catagory.

Special: this ability increaces the time between breaths by one rounds.

Normal: Dragons can only destroy small armies in one shot. This feat alows them to destroy medium size armies in one blow.

As a house rule, I'd let the dragon stack this feat, and just keep adding one to the rounds between breaths.:D

Personally, I think that some of the feats are way over powered, like lingering breath. The dragon only loses 1 round, but it's damage goes for 2? They're dangerous enough as is.

That feat looks pretty good, by I'd make them wait an additional 2 rounds, maybe three. THe area on the older dragons will be amazingly large.

Hate posting at work. I started my reply 2 hours ago.:)

I agree it should cost more, but I think it's in keeping with the time add on's of other feats. I'd double most of them as is.

Been there. I've even come in to work and found a half finished message I'd forgotten about.

Okay, I don't have that Dragon Mag (least I don't think I do) so I'm just going with gut feeling here.

Not that I've seen. I just took a look through Dragons by AEG and nothing there. :(

I believe Gygax's recent book on dragons (forget what it's called) was much more DM-oriented and had some dragon feats etc.

Ah, here we go:

The dragons you have faced up to now have been but mere weaklings. Discover how a true dragon fights, along with new feats, magic items and full rules for classed dragons.
