While I found the monster pictures very nice in the Legion's article, none of them had tatoos that I could see, despite the fact that the article mentions them several times.

The monsters in the two interior illustrations did have tattoos on their arms, and on the slaad's legs. They didn't have the one on the face that all of them were supposed to have, though.

I liked this issue a lot too. Yes indeedy. Hmm...what's this...?

See, I thought it was a theme issue but in disguise. The theme was February's release, Savage Species. But since they didn't TELL you it was a theme, you didn't know it was a theme.

Now I hate it!

So... what are you saying? This is a fluke, and the only reason I liked this issue is their latest product has a topic sufficiently broad that you can enjoy some variety with it and next month I should expect to resume getting "themed out my posterior" again?

I think that'd be a good idea, not bashing us over the heads with themes, but instead using them subtly.

Of course, that'll never happen.

Huh. I loved the Swashbuckling issue and the Summoner's Circle issues: both had really useful articles for me. I only delayed subscribing to Dragon (based on those two issues) because 304 looked like it wouldn't contain anything i'd ever use.

I'll give it a looksee next time I'm at the FLGS.

All kidding aside, it's hard to say. We'd have to know what the feedback Paizo is getting is like. Maybe someone will pop in and let us know.

The island the players are playing is about to be invaded by the baatezu. I think everyone will be hiring more mercs.

I think the nameless legion is going to make an appearance especially when someone else hires them. hehehe
