Dragon Max Age

According to the above page dragons can live a determined length of time after they become Great Wyrms. This length of time is based on their Charisma scores. What I would like to know is what happens to this span of time if their permanent Cha increases of decreases after they reach Great Wyrm status?

I think it changes, too, but I'd only count permanent changes. So no Eagle's Splendor to live longer, or killing a dragon by doing charisma damage.

But if he gets a downward change that is permanent and that brings his maximum age below his current age, he should make the Fort save immediately (or was it a Con check?)
