Dragon or Dungeon/Polyhedron?

Since I write my own PRCs/Spells in my free-time because I find it entertaining, I'm leaning towards Dungeon/Polyhedron right now... Dragon does have the news factor though...

Strange, I would have thought the new factor would be covered by Enworld :D

Dragon only tends to introduces more complexity to your game with additional rules, feats, spells, classes, etc to work in. Where as Dungeon makes your life easier with short pre-written adventures that are usually pretty easy to slip into a 'normal' D&D campaign. Even if you don't use them as is they make a handy template or provide a wealth of NPC's and such to work into you own adventures.

this sums it up, tho in a slightly bais fashion...

dungeon is for giving you adventures etc (and polys good if you like to run other style games once in a while), where as dragon gives you new stuff like PrCs, feats spells, and ideas for campaigns. recently, i would say dragon, but i dont use the poly mini games.

This is a tough one. I find both valuable. However, if you really have to choose only one, it depends on what you need.

Are you an experienced DM? If you aren't, choose Dungeon, since you can learn a great deal from pouring over the adventures, even if you don't run them. If you don't need that kind of help, on the other hand, then stick with Dragon.

But can't you get someone to buy you subscriptions to both as a christmas present?

:D Perhaps he hasn't noticed yet that we have a news page? :p

I know you couldn't accept it, but I don't find Morrus news useful to me. I look it over, and go "eh, doesn't mean a thing to me," every single time. It's pretty pointless stuff from my perspective. I havn't found one useful thing, other than the announcements that another Asgard is up to read.

Dungeon

Dungeon comes out every other month. Can't you skip a pizza once every 60 days?:p

Seriously, I vote Dungeon. As a college student you can run adventures all the time and Dungeon can be relied upon to add some encounters to any game. Dragon is very hit or miss with its thematic content.

No slam on anybody intended - I like both.
