Dragon Shifter: What feats

Ok, while most shifter abilities don't phase me, one small issue is: what feats and such does one take when becoming a dragon. Since they gain the natural feats of their new form, but it's based on the most common version, the issue becomes dragons are all unique and lack a single common form. So what dragon feats, if any, would they have access to as dragon feats? (Things like hover, snatch et cetera)

To my knowledge - None. You would gain none of those feats for shifting into dragon form. The reason is two-fold: one, dragons don't have a common feats listing in their stat block. and two, it says in the dragon section of the mm under feats that "Dragons favor Alertness, Cleave (claw or tail slap attacks only), Improved Initiative, Power Attack, Sunder, Weapon Focus (claw or bite), and any Metamagic feat that is available and useful to Sorcerers." It then goes on to say dragons can also choose from the following feats, etc etc.

That being said, however, as a DM I'd let you take those feats as a character with your own level-advancement gained Feats once you learned to shift into draconic forms. But they'd only be available when you were in a dragon, or similarly dragon-like shape - dragon, wyvern, yrthak, probably griffon, etc.
